Poslavu customer service number // Arduino pos printer library

    Poslavu customer service number

The Self-Service Mode is a new layout that can be used for locations to create standalone terminals for customer use. Self-Service Mode does not allow checking out orders or the ability to modify options and settings within the Lavu app. It requires a PIN number to enable and a PIN number to disable to prevent customers from accessing the full Lavu POS app.

To enable Self-Service Mode, you will need to know the following information:

    • access level requirement for PIN numbers will be required to enable/disable Self-Service Mode
    • If using Self-Service Mode will prompt for guest count

These settings are set by Lavu staff for Self-Service Mode when enabling this feature.

    Switching to Self-Service Mode

In Tableside mode, you will first go to the table layout screen. From the table layout screen, you will select the table that you would like to have established for Self-Service Mode.

When you have selected a table, you will tap on the LAVU button in the top left corner.

    Tap on Self-Service Mode

Enter the PIN number for enabling Self-Service Mode, then select GO.

This will now enter the device into Self-Service Mode. The customer can choose Tap to Order to create their order.

In this screen you will notice that it has been simplified from the Quickserve Mode. The customer will not be able to view open or closed orders and cannot proceed to the checkout screen. The only options that they will have is to send an order to the kitchen or cancel an order while it is in progress. They will be able to modify quantities and order in the same manner as a server.

Also, if you tap on the LAVU button in the top left corner, you will only see two options: About POS Lavu and Exit Self Service.

Choosing Exit Self Service will prompt for the PIN number that is used for enabling/disabling Self-Service Mode.

    Important Notes about Self-Service Mode

Self-Service Mode prevents customers from using the full POS app and this is restricted by PIN access. However, the customer will still have access to the Home button on the iPad device and can exit the app. It is HIGHLY recommended that all other programs are restricted through the iPad settings to prevent unauthorized use. Lavu is not liable for any misuse of the iPads caused by the customers. This includes Internet use, purchases through iTunes, or any other behaviors that are not affiliated with the app. We recommend following Apple’s instructions for Restrictions (Parental Controls) to prevent access.
