EFTPOS purchase limit Commonwealth Bank
Your daily withdrawal limit is the total amount you can withdraw each day from all accounts that are linked to that card.
Daily cash withdrawal limits are as follows (unless you have changed it):
Keycards
Debit MasterCards
The limits above do not apply if you choose the 'credit' option. If you want to change your daily withdrawal limit (up to $2000), you can do so via NetBank.
The daily withdrawal limit applies to all cash withdrawals and purchases you make when you enter a PIN through ATMs, EFTPOS overseas using Maestro/Cirrus, MasterCard and Visa Plus networks, Australia Post offices and other agencies. It does not apply to Debit MasterCard transactions if you choose the 'credit' option and contactless transactions. You can change your daily card withdrawal limit (up to $2000) in NetBank and the CommBank app.
Note: Withdrawal limits are per card and per calendar day (Sydney / Melbourne time) and both keycards and Debit MasterCards are restricted to a maximum daily card limit of AUD$2000 per day. If your account is linked to two cards e.g. keycard and a Debit MasterCard, you can withdraw up to each daily withdrawal limit per card per day.
To confirm your current daily card limit or ask for a different limit, you can:
- Log on to NetBank > Settings
- Log on to the CommBank app > Settings > Payment limits

Note: Your liability for unauthorised transactions may increase if you ask for a higher daily card limit.
